Is AccLedger HMRC-recognised for RTI?
Yes. AccLedger submits Full Payment Submissions and Employer Payment Summaries through HMRC's recognised PAYE endpoint with the required fraud-prevention headers and OAuth2 authentication.
How many employees can I run payroll for?
The Limited Company plan at £10 per month includes payroll for up to 5 employees. Larger headcounts can be added on a per-employee basis — get in touch for a quote.
Does AccLedger handle directors' NIC?
Yes. Both the cumulative method (recommended for most directors) and the alternative method (recalculated cumulatively only at year end or on leaving) are supported, configurable per director.
What about pension auto-enrolment?
AccLedger calculates qualifying earnings, applies the correct employee and employer contribution percentages, deducts the contributions from net pay, and produces the periodic contribution file ready to upload to your pension provider.
Can I produce P60s and P11Ds at year end?
Yes. P60s are produced for every employee on the payroll at year end. P11Ds covering taxable benefits in kind (company cars, fuel, private medical, etc.) are also generated and ready to file.
Does the payroll integrate with my accounting?
Tightly. Each pay run automatically posts the journals: net salary against your bank account, PAYE/NI to the PAYE/NI control liability account, pension contributions to the pension control liability, and employer NI to expense. Your trial balance always reconciles to HMRC and your pension provider.
Can my accountant run payroll on my behalf?

Is the off-payroll working (IR35) regime handled?
Yes. Workers flagged as off-payroll have the deemed-employment treatment applied — PAYE and NIC deducted from the deemed direct payment, with the correct treatment in the FPS.
