For accountants & bookkeepers

Get matched with clients who need exactly what you do

AccLedger's Expert Services marketplace sends qualified job requests — VAT returns, year-end accounts, CT600, self assessment, MTD ITSA, bookkeeping — straight to your firm. Set your own rates, agree scope in a private thread before anyone pays, and get paid directly and in full via Stripe.

You set your rate, paid in full · No listing fee · No minimum volume

Paid in full, every time

Whatever rate you set is exactly what lands in your Stripe account. AccLedger's commission and VAT are added on top of what the client pays — never deducted from your rate.

Job requests, not cold leads

Every request comes from a business already using AccLedger for its books — no unpaid consultations, no chasing quotes. You see the scope before you say yes.

No retainer, no obligation

Take the jobs that fit your capacity. There's no minimum volume and no ongoing commitment — respond to the requests you want, ignore the rest.

Work inside a real audit trail

Every job happens inside the client's own AccLedger ledger, with a permanent message thread for scope and pricing — useful if a client or HMRC ever queries the work later.

Build a public track record

Completed jobs collect a star rating and review, visible to clients choosing between providers — a track record you can point to.

Flexible engagement

Bookkeeping catch-ups, a one-off VAT return, a single CT600 — pick up work that fits around your existing client base, whenever you have capacity.

How the marketplace works

Clients requesting a service on AccLedger see your firm's rate and any reviews, or are matched automatically if they don't pick a specific firm. Nothing is agreed until you've discussed the job directly with the client.

  • Set your own rate for each service on your firm profile — VAT returns, year-end accounts, CT600, self assessment, MTD ITSA, bookkeeping
  • Clients see your rate and any reviews before choosing you, or are matched automatically if they don't pick a specific firm
  • Discuss scope with the client in a private job thread and confirm a final price before they pay anything
  • Client access to their AccLedger account is temporary and scoped to the job — no ongoing data-sharing obligation

Transparent pricing, paid directly

You connect your own Stripe account during onboarding. When a client pays, your confirmed price is paid out to you in full — AccLedger's commission and VAT on that commission are collected separately, on top of what the client pays.

  • Enter your rate once per service — it's exactly what you're paid
  • Commission and VAT are added on top of the client's price, not subtracted from yours
  • Paid directly via your own Stripe Connect account, not routed through AccLedger's balance
  • Update your rates any time from your firm settings

Built for regulated firms

Expert Services runs on a partner agreement that expects the standards regulated practices already meet — this keeps the marketplace serious, and gives clients confidence in who they're hiring.

  • Registration with HMRC or an approved supervisory body (ACCA, AAT, ICAEW, ICB) for AML purposes
  • Your own Professional Indemnity Insurance covering the work you deliver
  • You remain the engaged professional for each job — AccLedger operates the platform, not the engagement
  • All client communication and file sharing stays inside AccLedger's job thread for a clear record

Grow without the marketing spend

Winning new one-off clients usually means marketing spend, referrals, or a slow pipeline. Expert Services routes ready-to-go job requests to your firm instead.

  • No directory listing fees or lead-gen subscriptions
  • Requests already include the service, company type and a description of what's needed
  • Say no to jobs that don't fit — there's no penalty for passing
  • Repeat clients can book you again directly from their request history

Frequently asked questions

How do I apply to become a provider?
Get in touch via the contact form and tell us about your firm. Once approved, you'll see an Expert Services Provider panel in your AccLedger account where you accept the partner agreement, connect Stripe, and set your rates.
What does it cost to join?
There's no signup or listing fee. AccLedger only takes a commission, plus VAT on that commission, on jobs you actually complete and get paid for.
How much can I charge?
You set your own rate per service — there's no fixed or suggested price beyond the platform showing clients a from-price for comparison. Price it however works for your practice.
How do I get paid?
You connect a Stripe account during onboarding. When a client pays, your confirmed price is paid out to you directly and in full; AccLedger's commission and VAT are collected separately, on top of what the client pays.
What services can I offer?
VAT return filing, year-end accounts, CT600 corporation tax, self assessment (SA100), MTD ITSA quarterly submissions, and bookkeeping — you choose which of these to price and offer.
Do I need to be regulated?
Yes. Providers must be registered with HMRC or an approved AML supervisory body (such as ACCA, AAT, ICAEW or ICB) and hold Professional Indemnity Insurance — this is confirmed as part of the partner agreement.
Am I committed to a minimum number of jobs?
No. There's no minimum volume or ongoing commitment — accept the requests that fit your capacity and pass on the rest.
Who is the client's accountant of record?
You are. AccLedger operates the platform that connects you with the client and processes payment; the professional engagement for each job is between you and the client.
